Description

CJC-1295 No DAC, known in the literature as modified GRF (1-29), is a stabilized analogue of the first 29 amino acids of growth-hormone-releasing hormone. It is the short-acting GHRH analogue used across secretagogue research. Pure Peptides Canada supplies it as a lyophilized research reagent in 10 mg vials, with an independent Janoshik HPLC and mass-spectrometry report, CAD pricing and tracked shipping from inside Canada.

CJC-1295 No DAC at a glance

  • What it is: GHRH(1-29) with four amino-acid substitutions that protect it from rapid enzymatic breakdown. It is also called Mod GRF 1-29 or tetrasubstituted GRF.
  • How it differs from the DAC version: it has no albumin-binding Drug Affinity Complex, so its action is short rather than lasting for days.
  • What researchers study: GHRH-receptor signalling, pulsatile growth-hormone release and pairing with ghrelin-receptor agonists such as ipamorelin.
  • Supplied as: sealed lyophilized powder, 10 mg, single vial or box of 10.
  • Delivery: ships from inside Canada by tracked Xpresspost in 3–7 days ($25 CAD), or free in 4–12 days on orders over $299.

Where the evidence stands

  1. Cell studies
  2. Animal models
  3. Controlled human trials
  4. Approved medicine

GHRH analogues as a class have human data, but Mod GRF 1-29 itself has not completed controlled clinical trials and is not an approved medicine.

What is CJC-1295 No DAC?

Native growth-hormone-releasing hormone is cut by the enzyme DPP-4 within minutes. Researchers found that its first 29 amino acids carry the full receptor activity, and that four substitutions make that fragment far more durable: D-alanine at position 2 blocks DPP-4 cleavage, while glutamine at 8, alanine at 15 and leucine at 27 reduce other breakdown and oxidation. The result is modified GRF (1-29).

The name CJC-1295 originally belonged to ConjuChem’s version of the same peptide with an added Drug Affinity Complex, a reactive group that binds blood albumin and extends activity for days. The research market later began calling the plain peptide “CJC-1295 No DAC”. The two behave very differently in study models, so it matters which one you order. This page is the short-acting form. The long-acting one is CJC-1295 with DAC.

What CJC-1295 No DAC research looks at

  • GHRH-receptor signalling: cAMP-driven responses in pituitary cell models.
  • Pulsatile release: a short-acting analogue lets researchers study discrete growth-hormone pulses rather than sustained elevation.
  • Combination designs: pairing with ghrelin-receptor agonists such as ipamorelin or GHRP-2 to study both stimulatory pathways together.
  • Peptide stabilization: how targeted substitutions extend a hormone fragment’s working life.

Regulatory status: CJC-1295 is not an authorized drug in Canada. Health Canada’s April 2026 public advisory on unauthorized injectable peptides names it, and GHRH analogues are on the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibited list. We sell it strictly as a laboratory reagent for in-vitro research.

CJC-1295 No DAC FAQ

Where can I buy CJC-1295 in Canada?

Pure Peptides Canada stocks CJC-1295 No DAC (Mod GRF 1-29) and CJC-1295 with DAC as lyophilized research reagents, shipped from inside Canada by tracked Xpresspost in 3–7 days ($25 CAD), or free in 4–12 days on orders over $299.

What is the difference between CJC-1295 No DAC and CJC-1295 with DAC?

The DAC version carries an albumin-binding group that extends its activity to days in study models. The No DAC version, Mod GRF 1-29, lacks it and is short-acting. Choose based on whether your design needs a brief pulse or sustained exposure.

Is CJC-1295 No DAC the same as Mod GRF 1-29?

Yes. They are two names for the same tetrasubstituted GHRH(1-29) peptide.

Is this CJC-1295 third-party tested?

Yes. An HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry identity report from Janoshik Analytical, an independent lab, is listed on our Lab Testing page. The identity mass also distinguishes the No DAC peptide (about 3368 Da) from the DAC version (about 3647 Da).

Is CJC-1295 approved by Health Canada?

No. CJC-1295 is not an authorized drug in Canada, and Health Canada’s April 2026 advisory names it among unauthorized injectable peptides. It is sold here only as a laboratory reagent for in-vitro research.

Can CJC-1295 be used in people or animals?

No. It is for in-vitro laboratory research only and is not a drug, supplement or food. We do not provide dosing or administration information.

For laboratory research use only. Not a drug, supplement, food or cosmetic, not for human or veterinary use, and not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

If you have the discipline to stick to the strict fasting windows and don’t mind daily needles, the body recomposition and recovery benefits are absolutely real. Just make sure to take your mandatory 4-week break at the end of the cycle so your body doesn’t build a tolerance. Excellent in combination with Ipamorelin.
