Shipping Across Canada

Pure Peptides Canada ships only within Canada, from inside Canada. Every order is tracked, leaves in plain outer packaging, and is covered by a written policy if anything arrives damaged or wrong. This page sets out the two shipping options, what to expect in each province and territory, how temperature-sensitive items travel, and what to do if a parcel stalls.

The short answer

  • Two options at checkout. Tracked Canada Post Xpresspost, typically 3–7 days from order to door, for a flat $25 CAD; or free shipping on orders over $299, typically 4–12 days.
  • Canada only, from inside Canada. No customs holds, brokerage fees or import paperwork. We don’t ship internationally.
  • Tracked and plain. Every order has a tracking number and ships in unbranded outer packaging.
  • Cold-chain where it’s needed. Temperature-sensitive items travel in insulated packaging with cooling material.
  • Remote addresses take longer. Northern, fly-in and rural deliveries can fall outside the typical ranges.
  • Something wrong? Report damage, a wrong item or a quality problem within 7 days of delivery, with your order and batch numbers.

Shipping options and costs

Option Typical delivery, order to door Cost Tracking
Canada Post Xpresspost 3–7 days $25 CAD flat rate Yes
Free shipping 4–12 days Free on orders over $299 Yes

Both estimates cover the whole journey, from order processing to delivery. They are typical times, not guaranteed delivery dates. Business days exclude weekends and statutory holidays, which differ by province, so an order placed late on a Friday before a long weekend starts processing on the next business day.

Delivery by province and territory

How remote the final address is matters more than which province it’s in. Deliveries to major centres usually arrive within the ranges above. The last leg to northern and fly-in communities depends on regional carrier and flight schedules, so allow extra days.

Province or territory Major centres What to expect
Ontario Toronto, Ottawa, Mississauga, Hamilton, London Typical ranges to major centres; allow extra time for northern Ontario
Quebec Montréal, Québec City, Laval, Gatineau Typical ranges to major centres; allow extra time for northern Quebec
British Columbia Vancouver, Surrey, Victoria, Kelowna Typical ranges to major centres; island and remote communities can take longer
Alberta Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge Typical ranges to major centres; allow extra time for northern Alberta
Saskatchewan Saskatoon, Regina Typical ranges to major centres; northern communities take longer
Manitoba Winnipeg, Brandon Typical ranges to major centres; northern and fly-in communities take longer
New Brunswick Moncton, Saint John, Fredericton Typical ranges to major centres
Nova Scotia Halifax, Dartmouth, Sydney Typical ranges to major centres
Prince Edward Island Charlottetown, Summerside Typical ranges to major centres
Newfoundland and Labrador St. John’s, Mount Pearl, Corner Brook Allow extra time, especially for Labrador
Yukon Whitehorse, Dawson City Allow extra time
Northwest Territories Yellowknife, Hay River, Inuvik Allow extra time; many communities depend on regional flights
Nunavut Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet Allow extra time; deliveries depend on regional flight schedules

What happens after you order

  1. Checked and packed.Vials are checked against your order, labelled, and packed with cold-chain materials where the product needs them.
  2. Label and tracking number.Your tracking number is issued when the label is created. A new number often shows no movement until the parcel’s first scan, so allow a full business day.
  3. In transit. The parcel stays inside one domestic carrier network, with no border crossing or customs inspection.
  4. Delivery or depot hold.If no one is available, residential and remote deliveries may be held at a depot or postal outlet. Check the tracking notes, since the carrier sets holding periods.

Temperature-sensitive items and seasonal shipping

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides tolerate transit far better than reconstituted material, which is one reason research peptides ship as powder. Items that need it travel in insulated packaging with cooling material. That packaging is designed to buffer temperature through a normal transit window. It isn’t storage.

  • On arrival, move items to their intended storage conditions promptly.
  • Soft or thawed cold packs aren’t, on their own, a sign of a compromised product. The packaging buffers temperature; it isn’t meant to arrive frozen.
  • Winter and summer extremes are the main risk to a parcel left sitting at a door or depot. Our guide to shipping peptides through a Canadian winter and the peptide storage guide cover handling in detail.

Shipping to labs, universities and shared buildings

Institutional addresses are our most common destination. To avoid delays:

  • Include the suite, lab, room or department number wherever one exists.
  • Add a daytime phone number the courier can actually reach.
  • Tell your receiving desk a tracked, temperature-sensitive parcel is on its way, so it isn’t left at room temperature.

Packaging and privacy

Every order leaves in plain, unbranded outer packaging, with no product names or descriptions on the outside. That matters in shared mailrooms and multi-tenant buildings, where parcels pass through several hands. Product, batch and lot details are on the labelling inside.

Delayed, lost or damaged parcels

Tracking has stopped

  • Allow one business day after the label is created.
  • If tracking then stays static, email us with your order number.
  • We work with the carrier to locate the parcel or arrange a resolution.

Something arrived wrong

  • Covers transit damage, a wrong item or quantity, or a product that doesn’t meet its stated quality.
  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, the batch number on the vial, and photos.
  • Keep the packaging until the claim is closed.

Because these are laboratory reagents, opened products generally can’t be returned. The full policy is on our shipping and returns page, and checking a peptide order on arrival walks through what to inspect.

Why shipping from inside Canada matters

Research compounds that cross a border are the shipments most likely to stall in customs, be inspected or be refused, and cold-chain packaging is the least likely to survive the delay. Shipping domestically means one carrier network from origin to door, and no import paperwork, brokerage fees or cross-border duties for you to manage.

Frequently asked questions

How long does shipping take in Canada?

Canada Post Xpresspost typically takes 3–7 days from order to delivery, for a flat $25 CAD. Free shipping on orders over $299 typically takes 4–12 days. Remote, northern and fly-in addresses can take longer. These are typical times, not guarantees.

Do you ship to Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut?

Yes. We ship to every province and territory. Allow extra time for northern and fly-in communities, where the final leg depends on regional carrier and flight schedules.

Is shipping free?

Orders over $299 ship free. Smaller orders ship by tracked Xpresspost for a flat $25 CAD, shown at checkout before you pay.

Do you ship outside Canada?

No. We ship only to Canadian addresses, from inside Canada.

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes. Every order ships in plain, unbranded outer packaging, with no product names or descriptions on the outside.

The cold packs arrived soft. Is my order ruined?

Not necessarily. Cold-chain packaging buffers temperature through normal transit rather than arriving frozen, and lyophilized material tolerates transit well. Move the contents into proper storage promptly. If a vial is damaged, leaking or looks compromised, photograph it and contact us within 7 days with your order and batch numbers.

My tracking number hasn’t updated. What should I do?

A new label often shows no movement until the parcel is first scanned, so allow one business day. If tracking still hasn’t moved, contact us with your order number and we’ll work with the carrier.
